Frankfurt

We had a wonderful time with Lisa and her parents! It was such a joy to see her and spend several hours seeing her interact with the children and getting to know her parents. They brought us gifts and just loved on us the whole time. Her parents were so kind and insisted on buying us breakfast, which as you know inside an airport it isn’t cheap! Before we left the States, Shere Conway had given each of us and our children a small gift of some Euro to use while in Frankfurt, so Lisa took the kids to a shop in the airport and again her parents were so sweet to insist on adding a little extra so they could each have a little toy souvenir from the airport. Andrea, Lisa’s mom also ran all over the airport with me looking for a pharmacy where I could get an antihistamine for Adoniram who had broken out with a rash and was terribly itchy, and of course refused to let me pay for the medicine! She spoke very good English so I really feel like I was able to connect really well with her and I think we both very much enjoyed getting to know one another. It was just a true joy you all, thank you for praying for our time with them!

We should land in Delhi around 4:00 EST today (we are in the plane presently) and be met by some people from Rhema who are coming to retrieve many trunks of things we brought for the work they do and then we will also be greeted by Jaskamal and Sonika. We will stay overnight in Delhi and then head North with Jaskamal and Sonika sometime tomorrow. It is about a 5 hour drive so we will be situated for the next week sometime Friday late afternoon or evening.

Everyone is doing well and spirits remain (mostly) cheerful:) The Lord has already given us so many mercies throughout this trip. Both my littles are stretched comfortably out beside me (curled up feet to feet) and have been sleeping beautifully for several hours. Praise the Lord for an empty seat on our row!
