Packing Up

Our time in the North has been really good and really difficult all at the same time. I wish I could let you walk around in our heads because I really just can’t communicate all the things that we have seen, heard, felt and spoken since we arrived. Jeremi and I have often talked about how we try to capture it with our cameras, but it just doesn’t do it justice! You have to hear it, smell it, see it! If you have travelled to India or another country you know what I am talking about it. Our kids have experienced so much (good and bad) and we both have to say that your prayers have helped us immensely. The things that have been required of our children since we left for Atlanta last week have been very challenging, but they have done remarkably well. Jeremi and I realized tonight that they have pretty much sat since we left for the airport on the 5th!! Truly, we have been in a car or air plane for hours and hours and hours. So thank you so much for supporting us in prayer, the Lord has been near! Please continue to pray for us and our children.

This being our last day in the North, it was very busy. We spent the entire day going from one place or house to the next visiting and being fed! We began at our American friends golf course where he gave us a tour and a lesson at the driving range. Neither of us have ever been to a golf course and neither had Jaskamal and Sonika, so it was fun for all of us, even the kids. Jeremi won the putting contest and the kids wanted to know what his prize was, so John gave him a golf ball:)

We then headed to Jaskamal’s aunt’s house because she saw on Jaskamal’s facebook that we were in town and wanted to meet our children. We had a pretty tight schedule today, but Jaskamal said it will be 15 minutes, haha. Well it was an Indian 15 minutes I suppose:) It was worth it though, we made a really good connection with them and we were very glad to meet them.

Thank you again so much for your prayers, and your messages, and your check-ins. We truly feel the love of our family.
